Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, according to your human history books. Well, not exactly, Earthlings.
Read Edison's biography, and you will know that Edison took credit for inventions developed by people who worked for him. Earthlings, the real genius behind the electricity is Nikola Tesla. Pay homage to Tesla not Edison.
Nikola Tesla was one of the smartest Earthlings ever to exist on planet Earth. Only one Earthling has ever matched his intellectual power. That is Albert Einstein. We find it odd that Tesla does not get credit for his scientific achievements, while Thomas Edison gets all the credit.
Nikola Tesla invented over 1,000+ inventions on his own. Without Tesla, Earthlings would not have electric AC motors nor would they be able to transfer electricity over long distances because Edison was unable to invent a transformer like Tesla's.
The biggest crime on Tesla was Marconi stealing his "wireless" patent. Most Earthling do not know the United States overturned Marconi's patent and awarded it back to Nikola Tesla. What good did this do for Tesla? He died a money-poor Earthling.
We are befuddled by the Didiotic Earthling decision not to award
Tesla the Nobel Prize for his accomplishments. Because of this
unfairness, we have submitted Nikola Tesla's scientific works to the
Intergalactic Scientific Organization for the Galactica Peace Prize.
This is the most prestigious prize in the galaxy because millions of
planets compete for it. We hear that Tesla has an excellent
chance of 
winning despite being dissed for the Nobel.

Unfortunately, CF bulbs still burn out too fast to be considered 'green', in my opinion. There are many LED 'bulbs' on the market, which last much longer than competitors and the average life of an LED is 11 years.
